CloudKid Presents Silent Child - Spooky, Scary Skeletons

Another Halloween track is here to grace CloudKid and the community this spooky season with Spooky, Scary, Skeletons as performed by Silent Child, via the 1996 Halloween song made famous by Andrew Gold. This version of the song is dark, fierce, and sonically done in the alt-pop production style that Silent Child as an artist and producer is now known well for.

He says, “It’s a groovy, distinct version. As soon as I started the track I knew that I didn’t want to ruin this classic with any other lyrics because I still wanted to keep that holiday, family friendly side to it. However, I decided to add a more funky, alternative twist to it to make it more modern and bring out some more of the song’s vibes and colours.”

Inspired by the likes of Portugal The Man, Oliver Malcolm and updog on this track, Silent Child continues to impress with his genre-bending production and sound. With his viral single, ‘F*ck You’ alone wracking up hundreds millions of streams across all streaming platforms, the path he has taken to becoming a well-revered producer has continued to explode even from its foundations. Following a journey that took him from pouring over music production as a teenager to being playlisted on mainstay accounts, his name is now a staple within music spaces across the globe. At 22, he’s set himself apart from the throes of new artists who’ve been pushing their way to the front over recent years. He has decided to set the pace himself after the subsequent three years, with his talent setting the precedent and his push for new spheres within his production is a reflection of what’s to come. A host of collaborations also sit within the vast back catalogue which the artist has at his disposal – proving that his influence stretches across the spectrum of music genres. With names including Vosai, UNDREAM, PURGE, Omido, Creme, Kina & Galvanic and Lani Daye, he’s not only been focused on his own signature but those of his counterparts too, merging the two which has spread his sonics to new crowds.
