CloudKid Presents Jake Daniels - Liar (Dark Version)

Jake Daniels is notoriously a fan of the dark vibes that permeate the CloudKid universe! He is back, post-EP, with another moody, villainous version of one of his highest-streaming originals. On ‘Liar (Dark Version),’ he goes back to his roots all while releasing a new and improved version, alongside CK resident producer, Birk B.

He says, “The storyline is the same. This specific track was inspired by a few older movies, ‘Basic Instinct’being one of them. The main character is in love with someone who continues to lie to him, but he is so infatuated that he goes back again and again, even when he realises that she’s trouble. He struggles letting go of his infatuation and attraction towards her as she is obsessive over him, even though she is a liar of the worst kind. But it’s the production on this alternate version that drives the inspiration — and darkness — home.”
