CloudKid Presents Jake Daniels - The Game EP
Jake tells all in the last track of his fourth EP with CloudKid The Game, eponymously titled as such. ‘The Game‘ tells the story of a crumbling economy — and the state of the world at the moment — with the main character completely fed up and over it. Lyrically, the song narrates all of the things that are wrong with the world, no longer wanting to take part. Sonically, the song pays homage to alt-rock and grunge sensibilities further pushing the story forward.
Jake says, “This song is about the world’s current turmoil, seen through the eyes of someone who’s had enough. Our main character is fed up, disillusioned, and ready to walk away from it all. As the song unravels, his sense of complete disillusionment lingers on.”
