Intense, dark and angry are all fitting words to describe Jake Daniels’ next track, ‘Pain,’ which will be featured amongst others on his next EP with CloudKid, ‘The Otherside.‘ On this track, Daniels continues his superhero storytelling and lyricism, alongside his signature, sultry vocals to paint a sonic tale of the main character being in a bit of trouble.

Jake Daniels says, “The track follows the main character of the story, that we met on ‘Stalker‘ and ‘The Worst,’ being held captive at a science facility and being experimented on. He then breaks out, causing mass destruction and eliminating everything in his path. That’s why the song says, // don’t be surprised if I leave you in pain.// The song is also written from his own perspective, of what he sees in his mind. Sonically, the track includes Easter eggs from comic series like X-Men & new media like Stranger Things, so, I guess it can be a song for superheroes – and supervillains.”
