updog’s music captures the essence of one’s heart and soul. With this project comes a personal journey, the artist shares unique and profound stories that speak to the human experience. His single, ‘My Shirt,‘ paints a picture of the desperation a person goes through to find hope in the smallest things, in an attempt to make the relationship work.
The artist says of the track, “The lyrics are rather emotional, describing how the person clings on to anything that reminds them of that other person, even if it’s just a piece of clothing. It’s a sad and reminiscent one, and sonically, I think it sounds like that too — a sense of sadness, regret and longing.”
