He says, “This one’s pretty heavy which is why I left it for the end. ‘Scream‘ is based on the tale of Pharaoh vs. Moses, where Moses causes the waters to part so the Israelites can walk across. The song is meant to take a crack at what this felt like for the Pharaoh and his soldiers and the imminent pressures of knowing something could go wrong at any moment.”
