Germany-based POULISH KID teams up with Los Angeles-based producer NVDES to release, ‘Fire In The Streets,’ a brutally alternative track with a pounding beat that is sure to knock any listener off the ground.

POULISH KID says of the song, “Some years ago I hosted a party at my parents’ garden. We were a couple of friends having the time of our life, listening to loud rock music and having some drinks. Right after midnight, somehow the flames of the fire place took over to a tree. Within seconds the whole 30 foot high conifer was burning. The situation was surprisingly super quiet. The only thing I heard was the loud pounding rock music and the crackling of the fire. Everyone stood and we just looked up at the burning tree. This song is dedicated to that moment. NVDES and I had an online session in April 2022 where we he showed me some demos. I was inspired by the vibe of the demo and wrote the lyrics for it. After some different versions of the track, we ended with this result — an alt-rock, trap sound fit for everyone.”

Inspired by various artists such as San Holo, Odesza, Elton John, Germany-based, POULISH KID, radiates almost spring-like energy in his music that says: ‘let’s get going!‘ Sonically, his music can be described as brutally dreamy, alternative electronic synth beats along with a pounding bass that almost knocks you off your feet. With flashes of electro, it’s actually the soft indie sounds that bring one back down to earth, once they’ve been swept off their feet, that is. POULISH KID has been featured on a few Spotify playlists since his start, including New Music Friday Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, as well as Indie Fresh Finds. He has also recently announced his collaboration with the sync boutique Fringe Music.
