Silent Child explores the concept of fallible romance with his latest unmissable single ‘Empty Promises’. “This song is about the empty promises of saying “Forever”. You get into a nice relationship and everything is going good. You think that you’re going to last for a lifetime, but along the way you realize they just aren’t the one. All that talk about the future just means nothing now and it turns out that “Forever” was pretty short. At the same time, if you didn’t go through all of that, you wouldn’t be the same person that you are today. Nothing is for nothing”
