Both dark and uplifting, Biometrix’s first song of his next EP with CloudKid is an anthemic alternative electronic hybrid that is fuelled with epic vocal textures and a powerful climax by song’s end.
Jamie aka Biometrix says about the song, “I was inspired by different things on this song. Artists like M83 and Imagine Dragons but also the TRON Legacy films, so you can guess what the song might sound like given these influences. ‘Down Below‘ is about finally understanding and realizing what’s good for you while cutting out what’s toxic at the same time. It’s about rising above the things that and people who have held you down.”

Biometrix has been carving his niche as a music producer since being hooked on a £1 copy of eJay from a discount shop back in 2007. Collecting over 100 million plays on DSPs and scoring recent support from BBC Radio 1, The Prototypes, Loadstar, Zeds Dead, Spinnin, CloudKid, Trap Nation, MrSuicideSheep and more, the British producer takes inspiration from a combination of electronic and rock sounds and artists, (21 Pilots, Post Malone, Linkin Park, Pendulum, The Prodigy), continuing to collect both new fans and inspire his loyal familiars. He’s now proudly a signee of CloudKid’s, for his latest, forthcoming EP out this winter.
