On his last track coinciding with his EP drop, Biometrix shares GOLD, an empowering, groovy, hard-hitting track inspired by artists like Rhianna, Timbaland, and SZA, about living carefree, leaving your hair down, and just letting loose. “It’s fully in the moment, on a night out kind of tune where all that matters is now and what’s coming right up next. This is complete self- confidence track,” he says. The song paves the way for the drop of his first EP under CloudKid, Deep Thoughts.
Jamie, aka Biometrix, continues, “This EP is essentially a journey through all the facets of overthinking — both positive, negative and everything else hidden in between. I wanted to present a body of work that would help people realise they are not alone; that there’s always people around experiencing something similar. Some of the EP’s ideas came from post pandemic- fatigue of which everyone on the planet can relate to, and so I hope listeners can resonate with some of these themes and the overall journey I paint.”
