CloudKid Presents Crypto & KONG. - Cooler Than Me
Paying homage to Mike Posner’s original song, ‘Cooler Than Me‘ has been reimagined by Los Angeles-based KONG. and CloudKid’s in-house producer, Crypto. KONG. reveals that the track is a perfect blend of blues rock and electronic music.
KONG. says of the song, “Lyrically, the song is about being proud of who you are despite what anyone may think about you. It delves into the importance of embracing your true identity and celebrating your personal uniqueness — and ‘cool’ — regardless of societal expectations or external judgments. The lyrics encourage listeners to stand tall and remain unapologetically yourself.”

KONG. is a spiritual “OUTLAW,” who is exploring darkness to find light through music. With sonic inspirations covering the likes of Imagine Dragons and Hozier, KONG. has already been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday, NPR’s Tiny Desk, “Make a Change” from Don Diablo’s billion-streaming album, FOREVER, multiple synchs/customs, as well as tour dates with Kings of Leon and Fitz and The Tantrums. Most recently KONG.’s singles, “STAND WITH YOU.” and “BEAST.” have been amplified through the Inside Flow global yoga community, resulting in a surge of user-generated content (UGC) featuring the music.
