problem solved has continued to level up with his genre bending productions, unconventional sound choices and unique ear for melodies and rhythms since his start. Inspired by the likes of Kanye West, Linkin Park, Flume and Kaytranada, he has since become genre-less in his production, though mainly influenced in fusing electronic music, hip hop and pop, turning out tunes that ultimately fit into one cohesive sound. On vocals adjacent to problem solved’s production is CIV Pierre. Born in Harbor City and now in Beaumont in the Inland Empire, CIV was raised in a Christian household, and was heavily influenced by gospel music before embracing various genres from the 70s and 80s. Influenced by Usher and Chris Brown, CIV started dancing at age 7 and began making music at 15. Since then, his inspirations have shifted; now influenced by Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Andre 3000, and Chris Brown, he’s since developed a passion for creating impactful alternative music. He aims to reflect his life and struggles through his songs — striving for success and inspiration in all his endeavors — while embracing all music and dance styles, spreading positive energy and hoping to lead by example.
