CloudKid Presents Kaphy & Lone Me - Burning Inside (ft. Barmuda)
On CloudKid’s first release of the year, artists Kaphy, Lone Me and Barmuda join forces on “Burning Inside,” an edgy, powerful track with nasty bass sounds, crisp vocals and whispers that can be heard throughout. The song also includes orchestral instrumentals, such as violins and strings — to hype up the inner emotional struggle — building to an electronic drop that matches up with the aggressive picture intended by from the lyrics.
Lone Me says of the track, “‘Burning Inside‘ is a song expressing a journey of loneliness and where those feelings comes from, touching upon a few of the reasons why, leading up to the said consequence — loneliness – of those initial feelings. The song starts with a craving for genuine love, then moving over to self-doubt. After each line, random voices come and go. Before every drop, the song takes the theme of not being able to cope with it all and how those emotions can fester, leaving it to burn inside oneself. So many parts of the song are unique yet creative, particularly the vocal chops as they act like a “call-and-answer” to the lyrics, which further builds the image of a broken mind. It’s a lot to take it, in one song.”

Kaphy, born and raised in Mexico, is a music producer with large ambitions and an outlook on his future with music. He started producing at the age of 13, via an old laptop and cheap headphones, constantly working towards learning more, experimenting with many elements and genres within electronic music, trying to find the right sound he would soon go on to produce and make his staple style. Two years later, he would go on to learn music theory and to play the piano. He’s since had the urge to become a multi-instrumentalist and a catalyst force in his one-man rock band. Alongside him on the track is Lone Me, real name, Yahia Amine, a music producer from Algeria. He took quite a leap for himself and started creating music in 2018, solely using beats and instrumentals. However, soon enough he felt that there was more that he could have done with his music. The turning point and introduction to the electronic scene happened a year layer. Lone Me‘s music is influenced by a variety of genres ranging from hard, energetic music to dark melancholy sounds. This variety helped him discover his current sound and niche; using it to his advantage, He has had multiple releases accumulating up 2 million streams already. Finally, Barmuda is a singer-songwriter and producer based in The Netherlands. He’s most known for his songwriting and vocal performances. With catchy toplines filled with his recognisable way of lyricism, Barmuda has been releasing music for a little over 2 years with a distinct sound. Reaching more than 10 million streams last year and releasing on labels such as NCS, Sony, Warner and now CloudKid, he hopes to continue trying something fresh and new.
