CloudKid Presents Jake Daniels - Burn

New York-based Jake Daniels’ journey to his God EP nears closer, with his next single, ‘Burn’ awaiting audience ears. Sparklingly fierce, with exuberant energy, beats that will be sure to make anyone dance and that Egyptian sound & energy glistening throughout, this song is all about revenge and vengeance.

Jake says, “Continuing with the narrative of this body of work, ‘Burn‘ focuses on the god Apophis, who is depicted as a serpent, which is by the way, also reflected in the artwork. The song describes a different take on this god’s traditional story, where he is treated as an outcast instead of someone who is pure evil. Due to his condemnation and exclusion from society, he is hell bent on coming back and destroying the world, burning everything in sight. It foreshadows what the song’s really about which is getting back at those who ostracised you.”

»...he's treated like an outcast, instead of being seen as pure evil. «

Jake Daniels is back with a new single and an aura this era not to be reckoned with. Born and raised in a small city in upstate New York, with musically gifted parents and siblings, Jake’s artistic journey began early, and today that journey has garnered a few more companions to accompany him. With hundreds of millions of views and streams ranging across various platforms, spots on the top pop and alternative charts in his region, having only released music since 2019, Daniels has amassed a strong online presence across the world, due to his relatable lyrics and story-driven songwriting. His most viral and cinematic track “Two Face”  jolted his career, with Youtube’s animation and Gacha community welcoming it — and him — with open arms, making him go from small town hero to global spectacle in a matter of months. Now with his first EP behind him, Daniels is back to continue taking the world by storm with this next chapter, and his upcoming, God EP, out next month on CloudKid! In the meantime, his next single, ‘Burn,’ out now!
