Jake’s penultimate track before the release of his next EP, The Game, shows just how bad he can get. On ‘Bad,’ the main character of the story — a post-apocalyptic skeleton outlaw masked as one of Jake’s personalities — warns anyone to stay away if they attempt to try him. With a fierce, energetic, dystopian sounding alt-rock sound, the aggressive nature of the song sound clearly manifests into its greater narrative message.
Jake says of the track, “‘Bad‘ is one of my favorites off of the EP. Inspired by artists like Grandson, Nothing but Thieves, Royal Blood sonically, this song is essentially about how one wrong move in a depleting mental state can cause a trickle down effect on anyone around you.”
