Flash Game Developer

Description

We are looking for an exceptional on-site Flash engineer for a 6 month contract position, with a passion for games and children's media, to design and implement high quality online games. The ideal candidate will bring excellent knowledge of ActionScript 3 as well as a great attitude to the team. You will work with a collaborative, small team of artists, animators, and will interact directly with the Interactive Director.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science / Considerable Experience with Flash

Required Skills

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • At least two years programming experience with ActionScript 3
  • Expert knowledge of ActionScript 3.0, JavaScript and XML
  • Expert understanding in object-oriented programming techniques especially as they are related to ActionScript
  • Able to work & communicate well in a self motivated environment
  • Familiarity with source control software. Subversion experience a plus

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with integrating
  • Passion for game design
  • AMFPHP or Flash Remoting experience
